This is a bit of a strange announcement- I’m not sure how to take it.

On the one hand an extra 600k and possibly more cash injected will keep them afloat for a while longer.

On the other hand “the company will no longer be an investor in “Hatch to Dispatch” facilities” seems to indicate that the whole cell technology business will be quietly pensioned off. They may or may not manage to pull off one of the current projects. Perhaps it is too difficult to make a buck out of ‘inside a building’ type high tech aquaculture, meaning the more traditional pond based approach has won out.

Meanwhile the food business will also include dairy products!!

So CAQ will morph from a technology originator into a niche food business- a very different animal to how it started. Time will tell how successful they are at that…..
