Todays rise is compensation for a few months of a very frustrating wait for punters who jumped on the gap down to the 4 cents range.

Pump or dump or on its way to the glory days?

Look back in time. Depends on the buying on the gap down from the poor results. Was it a pro gap or an amateur gap.

My hunch was there was always a bit of pro money which was money stuck from the capital raising and wasn’t able to exit prior to the poor results.

The buying today is consistent with that view.

At 46 degree in the shade here the whole exercise is too difficult to ponder right through. And so a pretty basic idea for me at the moment is a bird in the hand kind of thing.

But I suspect theres more to this run for the volume required for large holders to get into the money here. And hence it wouldn't surprise me to see some follow-up news to maintain momentum here.

The big money that backed PRR I'm sure didn't enjoy being in the red. They will turn a quid here somehow and in the process hopefully long term holders who were able to average down will be able to live to fight another day in a happier place.
