Medic Vision to establish Simulation Service and Maintenance Centres in the UK and Hong Kong 13 June 2006 – Premier Bionics’ wholly owned subsidiary, Medic Vision Pty Ltd (“Medic Vision”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the US based simulation company, Immersion Medical to establish Simulator Service Centres in Hong Kong and the UK. The principal purpose of these centres is to provide ongoing maintenance support and related services for Immersions’ products throughout all of Asia Pacific and Europe. Medic Vision is currently the distributor of Immersion products in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland and various countries in Asia, including China and Taiwan. Immersion Medical, (a subsidiary of the US listed Immersion Inc) is one of the largest suppliers of VR simulation equipment in the world. MVL has had a relationship as an exclusive agent with Immersion for 3 years. Commenting on the establishment of these Service Centres, Medic Vision CEO, Mr. Ross Horley stated, “that by providing maintenance and related support services for simulation products covering all of Europe and Asia Pacific further solidifies our strategy of providing a total solution package for the deployment and maintenance of medical and surgical simulation on a global scale. Customers for these centres will include past, present and future purchasers of Immersion’s products sold by Medic Vision as well as Medic Visions own products We expect these centres to be established and operating within the next 3 months and to be generating an ongoing revenue stream within 6 months.”
