I wouldn't worry too much about that. Range will have a healthy combination of "free carried", "JV's", and "Sole projects".
Apart from Antartica, I truly believe East Africa is the only untouched frontier.
Major oil don't usually go alone on significant projects, as they usually like to hold someones hand, its a way of mitigating risk.
