You'd actually think it would be beneficial to the co to have the price rise so they would get extra for the placement + moneys from the option holders too
They might hook the optionholders anyway, as you say, if the share rises sharply after 21/4 to 29/4
The clients of the placing broker would like to pay less of course
I guess that's the to & fro of the market
Hopefully everyone may be satisfied
