    Quantum Energy (ASX:QTM) has posted an unaudited pre-tax profit of $4.32
    million for July and August.
    The company issued this release because of the considerable
    improvement on the prior year.
    The profit has come from both medical and heat pump businesses,
    but mainly from the heat pump side.
    It expects the current trend to continue because of increased
    demand for solar heat pump products.
