MEDIC VISION TO SHOWCASES NEW SIMULATOR WITH COCHLEAR

The Board of Medic Vision Ltd (Medic Vision) is pleased to announce that Medic Vision will be showcasing its new Temporal Bone Drilling Simulator at the 6TH ASIA PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM ON COCHLEAR IMPLANTS AND RELATED SCIENCES to be held in Sydney.

“It is a tremendous honour to be asked by Cochlear to exhibit our simulator on their booth. We look forward to continuing discussions with Cochlear on the use of the simulator for training in their product especially in China where Medic Vision has already a significant footprint of training facilities and deployed simulators.” said Mr Ross Horley Managing Director

The new simulator will be displayed and demonstrated in the Technology Suite within the Cochlear booth. The Technology Suite is where Cochlear’s senior engineers and audiologists provide hands on experience with new developments in audiological and surgical products. Medic Vision staff will be training Cochlear engineers in the operation of the simulator and will also be present to assist in demonstration.

The simulator has been internally developed using patented intellectual property from core technology acquired from the CSIRO and with clinical input from the University of Melbourne.
