I did smile when the CV appeared on the screen. A couple of people looked like they started to reach for a bag, but then composed themselves...
As Mozart already said, a real key was that BRM fully intend to produce initially from the detrital (not CID). WR was adamant that any impurities in our ore are an absolute non-issue for the steel mills as they already mix together many different types of ore in their processing. (Didn’t get a chance to get any more technical than this unfortunately.) The EV/Resource continues to look ridiculous.
WR re-iterated that we are the only junior to have this sort of critical-mass size resource.
The initial 2mtpa limit has been set because it is quicker to get this size mine through the approval process. It will also give us the opportunity to get operational procedures working before moving to a higher level of production. The approval process for the higher production level can continue while producing at 2mtpa.
WR said he never looks at HC – he would get too frustrated. But Ross occasionally lets him know of comments.
He also talked about the importance of the North West Iron Ore Alliance. How, as a group with the potential to produce over 50mtpa, we are able to get government air-time re port that would otherwise be far more difficult.
Mozart took a list of people’s names who would be requiring a tattoo in a couple of years time. Most seem keen.
