Given the money the Chinese are throwing around, coupled with their intent on being the largest electric car maker in the world, I wouldn't be waiting on the Swiss.

Chinese have a stranglehold on rare earths, suggesting that similar with PGM's would be majorly attractive.

Beijing is also enjoying an increasingly stronger presence in Africa

I'm sure at the least a similar deal to Xstratas could be negotiated. No Brainer to play off interested parties against each other
