Wish I had some more info on what was expected and a 2D seismic section - looking at the lithology column from the AGM presentation there is a change in the Nido Limestone noted 115m below the top NLF. Given that we have drilled ~150m of the NLF and the LWD sensors are ~20-25m back from the bit the change should be now...
Reading some background it seems that perhaps the information about expecting tight formation above better quality Karst limestone may be credible. As was pointed out by Oilking, Shell have done a lot of work on the seismic character of the vuggy karst limestone zones (apparently in 10-50m sequences)... Presumably Shell think there is somthing there.
