Agree...I don't see this announcment as negative at all.

In fact, the obvious level of confidence shown in the response only reinforces the significance of the drilling results in my opinion.

Thanks to the ASX, LEG have been able to underline their previous statement once again...and while they were at it, effectively confirmed that in less than just 6 months, they expect to be able to define a 1m+ oz resource to JORC standards.

Importantly, with infrustructure at the ready, LEG could be mining once again in a relatively short period...but this time, given the new resource size, they will be able to look at producing something like 100,000 oz/year of the yellow stuff.

Further news from several fronts due any day, and the bigger players would be aware of it, so I wouldn't expect to see any serious overhead for a while.

Still, I guess the announcement may spook a few people...so as I suggested in an earlier post, look out for plenty of funny business at the open.
