TGA APPROVAL PAVES WAY FOR ENTRY INTO MEDICAL AND PERSONAL HYGIENE
MARKETS
Citrofresh International Ltd (“CTF”) is pleased to announce that The Therapeutic Goods Administration
(“TGA”) has approved Citrofresh as a Hospital Grade Disinfectant. This is a significant milestone for
CTF as it is the first time the TGA has approved a 100% organic product for this particular application.
TGA approval paves the way for CTF’s entry into the medical and personal hygiene markets. CTF
expects to create significant additional business opportunities in this area. TGA approval is already
granted for the company’s anti-bacterial hand sanitiser product called Derm-E-San.
CTF will immediately expand the marketing of Citrofresh to Australian healthcare/medical organisations
which require strict hygiene control. CTF has already commenced the export of Citrofresh products
internationally for this purpose. The approval also validates the efficacy of existing Citrofresh products
currently in the market.
The Citrofresh medical range of products have been developed to proactively control and reduce the
incidences of virulent and microbial diseases which have become immune to toxic based alternatives.
These include Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, (“MRSA”) and Vancomycin Resistant
Enterococcus (“VRE”). MRSA is a significant concern in regard to hospital acquired infections. These
resistant strains of bacteria represent a significant cost to the public & private health sectors due to the
considerable time and effort required to treat infected patients.

Citrofresh is extracted from the pith of oranges through a specialised process. The extract contains a
