It seems out of character for SYR management to not meet a committment. Their record to date has been consistently very good.
From what has been said before, it is fairly clear that both ASIC and the ASX will be involved this time, since a Scoping Study involves implicit statements to investors. Cdchi1 has mentioned the limitations that apply to providing and NPV, while the resource level remains, technically, at least, at the "Inferred", rather than the "Indicated" level. Could this be the stumbling block?
At the Balama deposit, the ranges between drill holes have been so consistent and predictable that the probability of a significant revision is vanishingly small. But them's the rules
Maybe we should hold fire until there is more information available.
