We understand that the delay in securing
all the finance required for the construction
of Boikarabelo and the consequent delay
in beginning production have been
disappointing for shareholders, and we
appreciate your patience. They have been
disappointing too for your management team
who recommended to the board that the
funding offers were not in shareholders’ best
interests; as a consequence, management
will no longer benefit from performance
rights that depended on project funding
being achieved by 30 June 2013.
