Just trying to get my head around this drilling for oil gig, 40 t0 80 yrs ago crews would drill down in hope of hitting a pressurized pool of oil & if successful a spout of very black oil would create much excitement & wealth for the owners, that
type of success is not seen any more, only Fracking which appears to be very hit & miss. I think those bygone years were called Wildcatting & I suppose only 1 in 100 holes drilled were successful & very similar to whats happening today. Just some idle thoughts -- Xmas Cheers All.
