If this was so, Transgene would have already made an announcement. It hasn't.
Another possibility is that the deal to acquire Paul Hopper's Pathway Oncology is off.
I hope this is the case.
Why would it be called off?
The VHL share price has tanked since the Hopper drug deal was announced on St Patrick's Day.
Further, the deal was to be partly financed by a mooted $3m placement through Patersons Securities at $0.12.
The current SP is $0.10.
Why would Paterson clients pay 20pc more than market?
