ANTEO TECHNOLOGIES INTRODUCES NEW PRODUCT TO MARKET AMGTM Activation Kit for Multiplex Microspheres
Today Anteo Technologies Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Anteo Diagnostics Limited, ASX: ADO) is launching a new AMGTM Activation Kit for Multiplex Microspheres.
The Anteo Mix&GoTM (AMG) kit has been specifically developed by Anteo’s product development team to be compatible with both MagPlex® and MicroPlex® Microspheres for use on the Luminex® platform.
Dr Geoff Cumming, CEO, Anteo Technologies said: “Our newest Activation Kit will save scientists time and effort when using the Luminex multiplex systems because our product provides a stable surface chemistry platform to couple proteins onto microspheres,”

“We think this kit will be of particular interest to new users of the Luminex multiplex systems, who may previously have been using the EDC Chemistry method, because it offers simplified handling and it’s fast,” said Dr Cumming.
Anteo’s patented Mix&Go technology platform, which is used across the company’s suite of AMG products, is renowned for providing stability and excellent reproducibility of results. Anteo’s unique technology allows activated microspheres to remain stable for up to one year.
How the AMG Activation Kit for Multiplex Microspheres works
The AMG Activation Kit uses Mix&Go technology to stably activate and couple proteins to multiplex microspheres.
Mix&Go allows proteins to bind faster and with more functionality leading to enhanced performance and capture of the target molecules. The microspheres are quickly and easily activated with Mix&Go. They are then stable to store in the activated form, or are immediately ready to couple with protein.
