I think the telefonica deal is just a very clever way to get Airpocket app onto peoples phones. If they tried to do the remittance from the get go, this would be a lot more expensive in terms of marketting and promotion so the plan appears to be to have Telefonica market it for us then add on features when ready. The AirAgents will be promoted once they have enough users downloaded app and can see where the user base is etc (analytics) to focus promotional efforts. They are fully licensed from a regulatory point of view.

Dont forget they are targetting many other partnerships, this is not the end of the line, and some will be with remitters and MTOS with a customer base (like Mexican MoU mentioned previously). There are plenty of companies with a user base but old legacy systems that will have to do something with the onslaught of tech competition and Airpocket could offer a great option for them.
