The announcement only says "expected prior to Christmas". Tomorrow is still prior to Christmas so if it were to be tomorrow then we won't be getting an announcement before Christmas. So IMO it shouldn't be expected.
But like bears just said, no point getting caught up on when announcements should be expected if you're in it long term.
