+++++++++++++++++++++++++ Coles Myer Ltd today welcomed the ACCC's approval of its purchase of the Theo's Liquor chain in NSW.
Theo's Liquor is Australia's fourth largest liquor retailer and is well known and well regarded in NSW with annual sales of more than $175 million.
Liquorland Managing Director, Craig Watkins said that Theo's Liquor had built a very strong business and would make a significant contribution to Liquorland.
The Theo's stores will continue to operate under their existing brand names, Theo's and Crown of the Hill.
Mr Watkins said that the teams from Theo's and Liquorland were working closely to ensure early completion of the contract and maximisation of the strengths of the two companies.
