Agree lachlan - encouraging. Awaiting a wind change in the west now for the market to really ....?

Read the whole thing ... and parts like the historical data, roll front etc jumped out of the announcement - but best summarised, in laymans terms, by RWE business news below:

Metex receives encouraging uranium surveys at Nyang
By RWE Australian Business News, 20 Apr 2007
Sydney - Friday - April 20: (RWE Aust Business News) - Metex Resources (ASX:MEE) has completed airborne EM surveys at the Nyang uranium project in the Carnarvon Basin, Western Australia.
Provisional results have been received for the southern area and final results should be available in May.

The EM survey was done to follow up historical mineralisation identified in 1983-85 at the Carley Bore.

The survey showed that the Proterozoic basement, believed to be the source of uranium mineralisation for roll fronts, extends further west than previous mapping indicated.

This has potential as far as the distribution of the paleochannel hosts is concerned.

A drilling program is planned to follow the completion of all geophysical work.

Metex shares last traded at 12c.
