Have a read - very interesting article: https://thedriven.io/2019/09/23/australias-tritium-charges-into-growing-us-electric-vehicle-market/

Reading between the lines looks like the Veefil-RT is almost obsolete. It will be rebranded as the Veefil-RTs identical Veefil-PK however, maxed at 175kw. This could be a win for RFT as Veefil-RTs will presumably be using the same Rectifiers in the Veefil-PK.

As for the announcement of the 50kw rectifier, presumably this will replace the current rectifier/s used in the Veefil-RT.
I am only taking a stab in the dark, but I guess they want to improve and make it even more compact as well as cater for the new generation of EVs using 800v battery packs opposed to 400v battery packs. Presumably, the current Veefil-RT has a maximum output of 50 kwdc @ 400volts - I can not really verify this.

I am hopeless with electronics, but I am guessing charging at 800v versus 400v will be much more efficient.

The replacement 50 kw rectifier will cater to 800v battery systems (the current 35kw rectifiers already do).
