We know & stay in Romblon regularly & know reasonably well whats going on. The delay may be due to politics.
Last Governor who retired, backed mining in Sibuyan. Many of the Locals & local Politicians don't & are dead against the mine
Last May election pel backed seemingly the wrong candidate for Governor who was heavily beaten....after supposedly having given him an "expedition" SUV.
As yet it is not known what stance the new Governor will take re the mine & what the locals feelings are.
Will know in 2 weeks upon return should anyone want to know
