Alex regarding your statement :
"did notice that MWE announced in their previous Africa Downunder presentation that they have previous estimates indicating 750,000 tonnes at 4.7% to 850,000 tonnies at 5.8%.
Are these drill results looking to both turn this into a JORC and expand the size?
In which case we could be looking at 4 billion dollars in ground"
The 750,000 tonnes for kapulo is not 100% Cu you have to multply it by .047 (4.7%) to find the amount of Cu
which is around one twentieth of your amount
So say 750K ton * .047 * $4000 (ton price im guessing go to Kitco to confirm on LME ) = $141 M however due to dilution factors one normally halves a resource to get a reserve so its around $70M at present
This is infill drilling so i doubt if it will increase resource /reserves but as stated will be used for JORC to ulimately finance mining IMHO
If it was 100% Cu they would be mining it right now!
Political risk will be insured for if mining proceeds.
Kapulo is only a very small part of the Katanga North South belt so there is a lot more potential resource.
available
However Kapulo looks very easy to mine as it apears to be an exposed ridge.basicly shaving off a hill.
