Always a shock right before big announcements to come, however take a look at all of the companies that have made it from cents to dollars. You will notice that most of them had a/some director/s selling some of their holdings before the massive gains were made. Although this sounds ridiculous considering you would think they would be in the know and would hold knowing good news is coming, but it happens regularly.

Just a couple of examples that I found quickly:

PDN 06/07/2004 Rick Wayne Crabb sell 1,000,000 shares at $130,095. 6 months later they would have been worth $1mil, or 18 months later $5mil or 30 months later $10mil.

FMG 20/02/2006 Herbert James Elliot sell 250,000 shares at $1.354mil. 12 months later worth $6mil, or 18 months later $10mil, or 21 months later $16mil.

FMG 14/09/2006 Gordon Leonard Toll sell 750,000 shares at $6.31mil. 3 months later worth $10mil, 6 months later $18mil, 9 months $30mil or 14 months $50mil.
