From my reading of the ann (18 March), they were more talking in terms of picking up the properties, not the trust.
This would get them around problem of the long term management contract "poison pill"
Perhaps their buying 5% of trust was an "each way bet".
I have already quit my Rubicon holdings at heavy loss.
