GPT continues to recover
I have been reading up on a lot of REIT articles from analyst after GPT announcement.
-WDC is in a sufficiently strong position that it may be able to take advantage of weaken A-REIT. Westfield has about $7.3 billion of available liquidity.
-MGR downgraded to netural as a major percentage of their future profits will be based on development profits.
The good thing about GPT is that they are mainly property owners with extremely sort after assets, rent will continue to be stable from their Retail and Office blocks in their Australian operations so operating profit is pretty reliable.
-Expression of interest of their Hotel and Resorts due in early September, this news can be complemented with an expected cut in interest rate on the 2nd of September and dividend payment of 4.2 cents in 5 September.
So much happening in the next couple of weeks let see how it’ll go. Still cannot belief its trading at a $2 discount on NTA.
The gap b/w MGR and GPT will be closed, will update when new analyst report arises.
