while EXT renewals were from the expirey, norman is quite cerctain from the talks with the officials, that theirs is to be considered from the renewal date.

Are their exceptions to the posted legislation, i dont see why not. There is always a case to be made of unusual circumstances or unaccebtable delay.

So another plus.

And to add to that, after the intial 3 year, there is a two year, and i understand even another two year exploration licence renewal, but my understanding is that after the current renewal, the next application will likely be for the mining tenure. So, that in itself is a statement of confidence IMO in what they believe they have.
