    I wouldn't sweat why they sold, it could be any number of reasons not many of which are specific to UMC. The fact they found a home without impacting the share price is a positive. You only buy for one reason.

    Why 3 different brokers though. Maybe they wanted to spread the business? even if it was 3 separate buyers it could have been done through one broker. Maybe that's a red herring too.
