Certainly not trying to start a heated debate or upset anyone here - But: "Mauritania is still the highest country per capiter for slavery" is totally irrelevant IMO when trying to make money. Brutal - yes. But I'm being honest. Morals aside. Instead of blaming the locals for not being able to get things done - what about the company? What about the expats? They were also not able to get s**t done to timescales? How much responsibility do they take? Piss poor planning? I'm merely floating the "other" side to this argument.
