I like your question about this and I do not in any way want to be insensitive to Flippa, but just a bit more detailed on some aspects. You have asked if this lack of progress was to do with the company involved and possibly piss poor planning. I have the same questions.

Are the problems with progress more to do with the management of the company than with the local influences? I can think of many other places on this earth that have been mined that have been in the worst of places to work. Actually to be frank, most god awful places seem to be victims of the resource curse. In saying that I do believe that if handled correctly resources can be retrieved at a profit, and history has proven that.

Are there other companies working in the area that may be doing better/worse, due to management, or workforce, or completely different factors? I thank you @Flippa01 for your honest report with your boots on the ground info that is worth more than hours of reading journalist reports.

I'm in AEE for one of my long plays and mostly Haagan benefits but as we all know every aspect needs to be taken into account.
