I am still curious to know how they managed to get oil shows over an amazing 143m interval and then at the end of the day come out with this dribble of 90 barrels a day.
Come on, there are farmers in Texas coming up with 300 to 400 barrels a day without much effort at all. You have all seen the reports on the news and current affairs shows!
These guys after months, if not years, of trying in supposedly the most prospective country for oil exploration, Brazil, can only announce, wait for it....dadaaa 90 barrels a day and to boot they are surrounded by oil fields that have been producing for over 20 years.
So what have we got? one progressive cavity pump that works by using a rotor and a stator. The rotation of the rods by means of an electric motor at surface causes the fluid contained in a cavity to flow upward.

It is also called a type of sucker rod-pumping unit.

Ah there's that word sucker...should never have ignored the prophetic use of that word.
