I wish that were the case about the timeline for the de-merger/consolidation, but I know that it is not.
I emailed Phil, to find out what is known about the timeline, in real terms, and he said the reason why there haven't been announcements that give set times is that ASIC are the hold-up and that they could reply any time, or possibly even deny some tax-related stuff that could cause the whole deal to fall through.
I don't think he was implying that the deal falling through was likely, but just that the whole timeline is up to ASIC, which is the reason that it keeps moving further out. Late April is really just hoping that ASIC is done by then.
