announcing drill results

    I read somewhere else on HC that if a company has poor drill results, they don't have to announce them to the market.

    Is this true?

    Also is it legal for a company to say that drill results are delayed at a lab if they are not?

    Purely hypothetical question here and doesn't relate to any stock.
