It is still happening in 2018/19. Sun resources and Nemex Resources are prime examples of people listing companies with no plans on ever doing anything except taking shareholders money and retiring early on their over paid executive wages they get for 2 to 3 years of running the companies. People are always quick to believe the good news they put out without actually doing proper research, so can be taken for a ride quiet easily.
