Thankyou Thankyou for bringing this up - am dealing with this exactly right now and only the past few days, but staying away from home at a hotel, rarely, for special family wedding as well as birthday occasions. Suddenly NIB predominantly & now OPSM ads.
I thought it was because I had switched on using hotel wifi & exposed to unsecured networks. Or maybe a software update was needed for my phone however nothing was indicated as not up to date.
Wanted to get advice around this today.
To overcome the viral ads which take up the entire screen fairly quickly, repeatedly in any page thread- I am taking screenshots and reading then delete the screenshot. I can get below the ad and access the ‘back’ arrow so I push that then forwards again to return fairly quickly, then take the screenshot of whatever it was I wanted to read. It does settle down at times enough so can read lengthier posts such as Masons and others.
It is malignant agreed, and quite an issue if continuing .
