    You need to play the game. Abbot's is usually 2/$7 or occasionally they do 1/$3.5...BUT...and there always a but...the game is that the following week Abbot's is full price and it's Helga's turn...like clockwork. They both have excellent bread in the 7gr/100 fibre range.
    Mia's does a good one...Wheat grain (???) that's about $3 everyday price. A full loaf where 16/18 slices is 750gr or so.

    You're in double bonus territory if you have Coles/Woolworths within striking distance...as I do.

    Makes me wonder when people choose gutless white bread one wouldn't feed to the ducks whereas a high quality loaf can be purchased for $3.

    I don't have faith with online choosing my fresh produce. At a store you choose from the back and get the longest lead date.

    I actually enjoy shopping...not much gets pass me with retailers.

    I reiterate that some kids are feral. Another pet hate...those who leave their bikes or school bags haphazardly across entrances. One day my trolley may accidentally hit one...;)
