"The Board of Range Resources Limited (“Range”) wishes to clarify the cash
position as reported in the June Quarterly Activity and Cashflow Report
released on 31 July 2007. Please note the $22.9m reported cash balance
includes an amount of US$10m held on trust for Consort Private Limited
(“Consort”), representing the cash component of the consideration for the
remaining 49.9% interest of the Puntland Rights as announced on 24 May 2007.
The Company has subsequently released the funds from trust."
