Frankly I think the only way we're going to see any real return on AKK in the medium term is for Richard to follow through on his "threat" to arrange a deal to put AKK into the hands of private equity investors (who may later decide to re-list in the US).
I recall him saying that he thinks it should be worth 3 or 4 times its current value, so he'll have to convince private equity that's it's worth a lot more than the SP currently reflects.
I just can't see him allowing the SP to languish in the doldrums for all that much longer.
If no amount of good news /increased revenues/enhanced production results in a significant hike in the SP, then I reckon that by this time next AKK will either be in the hands of private equity or will have been taken over by another O&G player.
