True, true...and by all means I do hope that I'm wrong. But this market looks like it's only prepared to reward actual production/ actual revenue etc...not future potential.
And I'm not saying that's an unreasonable way for the market to react. But it must reach a point where someone will sniff out an absolute bargain and pick up AKK for a song (or at least have a go).
My understanding is that a typical SP premium in a takeover ranges between 30-50%. If Richard reckons that he can extract more than that by arranging a private equity deal before someone pounces out of left field, then I think he'll give it his best shot, as he's already indicated in the media.
Personally I don't care how he manages to get us some ROI, as long as he does.
