Quoted from the notice of AGM.
"The company will disregard any votes cast in relation to resolution 5 by the directors and any associate of a director"
(the next bit says roughly - Unless nominated as a proxy)

So - The directors cannot vote for themselves.

As to why -
"Each director has played a key and integral role in the future benefit of the company and therefore for increased shareholder value. The proposed issue of plan options is based on each directors contributions to the company"

You need to make your own mind up as to whether you consider each director has played an integral role and that their remuneration is in the correct proportion to that.

As far as guidance,
I have been here for the long haul, and have attained a fairly unenviable possible record of an almost 1000 negative bagger from $4.00 down to 0.05.
The current directors have reversed the trend and now have this company on the edge of incredible commercial success.
I am aware of some of the much valued contributions of some of the directors, in particular the incredible efforts from our CEO Dr Geoff, as well as the financial support of James Henderson and his Co to stave off insolvency when this company was starving of liquidity.
I am not privvy as far as ongoing input from mr Henderson.

It is your decision as to whether you consider any of these things to be significant and worthy.
