Flashman,
If we didn't have that 'Persistent Questioner' there, we wouldn't of had any time on when to expect the upgraded DFS, but because that PQ kept asking and grinding an answer out of a flustered Gus, we got 4 months at the soonest.
Also thanks to the PQ, he got them to state that we are still looking at production in late 2012, as long as the finacial world keeps getting better, and we can get the $80 million needed to start up Ross. (This is Gus's full time job, finding the money.)
Thanks to the PQ, the SML was submitted (as announced) in June, and is in the review process, which Gus or Malcolm had little idea of 'where it's at', in Washington. But seemingly ok, until otherwise. This goes with the PTM, however they were a little more confident, and believe the Berger family are leaning more towards in fav of us. (make of it what you want?)
Thanks also to the PQ, we found out that while everything was going smoothly(pre fukushima), Penninsula, Nucore and Pala (where alot of our directors work has gone), were close to aquiring a Uranium trading firm that could have earnt us 100 million Euro a year. But unfortunetly as our SP plunged (Fukushima) so did this deal. Hence Nucore exiting the agreement. Nothing would have been said about this if it weren't for the PQ, grilling Malcolm and Gus over the directors roles/ pays, thanks again to the PQ.
Karoo wont get an estimated definate resource until we get onto site 45, but nobody has an idea of when that will occur.
So in summary, Gus spent more time rabbitting on about Uranium demand that we all know about.
Permits are going well, but we are not to sure where there at (and stop asking us PQ.)
We still don't have the funding, and no idea when, but the world has bottommed out and can only get better according to Gus. However if it gets worse, so does our chances of producing in 2012(Thanks to PQ.)
A bumbling display from Gus and Malcolm that would of made our pollies proud, giving nothing. Alf, who Gus described as an artist, with his work in tracking rollfronts said nothing, and John the secretary was the only other member sitting there and he said the least. No one else was there, unless lurking at the back.
Very disappointing and be very happy that you didn't waste the $ on a flight over. Our fate is in the hands of the U price.
Ps. Yes I was the Pesistent Questioner upfront asking most questions, and if I wasn't there.... good luck finding out anything. There was however alot of spineless people there.
