Marketing would not typically "pitch" - that would be a traditional salesman (ideally you would have both though sales would involve travel and F2F with potential customers therefore full time and with added expenses .. id imagine this will be required in the next phase however marketing is required today for web / social and branding, online presence vs inferior competitive set etc.
