Annual report and Advertiser article again disappoints shareholders. Disappointing to see virtually no revenues for PPY despite all the announcements previously to say that they had sales. Great to see though that they are staying the course and trying to get something happening at Walkamin as I thought that this was their only hope. The Egypt noises looks like to be something at last to have some element of truth about it. I want to believe it but having been stung on previous announcements which then cost me dearly I just don't know if PPY can be trusted. So, I did a google search using Ted Byrts own description of an Egyptian company showing "expressions of interest" that "specialises in solid waste recycling and contract engineering" and I found a company called Citadel Capital and its platform company is TAWAZON. Citadel Capital bought out ECARU and ENTAG. The following links give a good run down on the company. I'm only speculating though but if it was going to be someone in Egypt these guys look the goods!!! Check out this link; "http://cleantech.com/news/5348/pe-firm-acquires-two-egyptian-solid". Here is a paragraph from the article for those that can't get the link to work;
"ECARU collects and processes more than 500,000 tons per year of agricultural solid waste, with a focus on converting rice straw into compost. It also pioneered a technology that makes animal feed and is researching making medium-density fiber board, fuel pellets, and paper from rice straw". Then check out TAWAZON's web page "http://www.citadelcapital.com/current-investments/entag-holding/". And here is the link to the ECARU web page. You will have to hit the translate button. It doesn't show much in the English version, but they exist. Gotta say it looks very promising as Citadel Capital is big and they are developing medium density fibreboard from rice so it shouldn't be too difficult to adapt to banana. So do I get optimistic and buy in again???
