One trait we have nearly all succumbed to at one time or another is the belief that a stock owes us money when we get hit. Instead of selling out and moving on we hang on as if its the only stock on the exchange. The goal is to recoup the losses, something that can done more effectively with other more quality stocks yet we cling to the one that burnt us, we try to right the wrong. We will not admit defeat and the losses mount. At these levels it's almost too late to sell out as the proceeds have diminished to the point where buying another more promising stock in any meaningful quantity is lost. Ah yes, the joys of the market.
