The faithful true believers with vision top up their holdings at the expense of the nervous and soon they come out with the big one.
It is at this point that you hear all the losers tell us about how many they used to own.

"the sharemarket is about the exchange of wealth between the impatient and the patient"

I wont be surprised if some positive are announced before the AGM and the investor briefings.

CSIRO's Dr Chris Prideaux says that even if development of a vaccine is too late to help
control the current outbreak in Asia, it would still be possible for researchers to quickly
adapt it to deal with new strains of avian influenza.

NOV 2004
“Reconstruction of a new batch of the vaccine will soon commence and trials are expected to be underway early in 2005. The new batch will be tested at several stages to ensure that the defect has been corrected. This will ensure that the protective gene will express as expected,” said Dr Lamb. “With this news and the recent success in gaining a $250,000 BIF grant to develop the Avian Influenza Vaccine, we remain very optimistic that we can develop an effective vaccine against bird flu.”

JULY 2005
Bird Flu Vaccine
Our new Bird Flu trial vaccine under development is being evaluated to optimise the dose, administration timing and method. This work is being performed at contracted laboratories in Victoria. Once these evaluations have been completed our vaccine will be tested in the high security area of CSIRO’s animal health centre. CSIRO has indicated that its trial scheduling should have these trials completed during calendar year 2005.

OCT 2005
Our Bird Flu development and trial work
has continued throughout the year.
Current trials are underway to determine
the required dosage to stimulate the most
effective antibody response. We
anticipate these trials continuing into the
first quarter of 2006.
