re: what potter didn't say! My perspective on going alone in Guyanne is that it is not really a matter of choice, probably no good farmin offers on the table.
At the same time, this announcement and commitment by HDR to go alone if needed puts the company in a stronger negociating position with potential farminees. And importantly may insure that HDR retains the permits by fulfilling commitments within required timetable.
A lot of posturing involved ....
I agree with Chinguetti that going alone for HDR on Guyanne is not very rational given costs/high risks/low level of Hardman expertise factors outlined.
