The annual report is pending, with tomorrow the last trading day before the end of February.
I ordinarily save comments for the specific company I have a vested interest in, not much point wasting time on other companies.
Today however is an exception, the annual results for another Tassie based food company Pure Foods Tasmania (PFT) came across my desk.
I haven't looked to closely at PFT, as I'm invested in TFL.
Just quickly comparing the two businesses,
TFL better in many areas, in my opinion.
PFT market cap basically the same as TFL
The SPS..... well, that's another story
PFT $0.76
TFL $0.12
I still maintain the TFL SP is manipulated, daily volumes are reasonably consistent, with no increase in SP.
As it's been pointed out in another post today, approximately 80% of stocks are held by institutions.
Leaving the other %20 mum and dad investors to hold, I couldn't imagine M&D holders churning shares to fill in the day.
Perhaps mushrooms will be the next product TFL diversifies into.... the BOD will know how to do it!
They can certainly keep shareholders in the dark.
Never any other news, other than mandatory reporting and often they are regurgitated.
The business seems to be labouring, perhaps the pending results will prove me wrong.
