250ml drives sales transactions and slows down price inflation at retail. (doesn't matter who causes it, it's still inflation). remember CCL is the retailer through many '000s of vending machines, so they get transactions happening again at full margin. not a panacea but better than doing nothing at all but hope 600ml / 450ml / 375ml save the day. i think they have taken the eye well off the ball in on prem with postmix. sell lots of canadian club and cede postmix to schweppes? importantly, they are rebasing costs via the labour line. that's OK, but have lost oodles of talent that could operate.
