Well if the story about fake gold is true: Where's the rat?



My message is that you have to beware whatever you buy.

"paper" gold is best for some.


Unfortunately on this place there is no cons for bullion ever given credence to. And the problems associated with bullion are never acknowledged, considered or understood.

I suppose a question could be to line up all the stories people can find about those that have lost money through investing in 'paper' gold and those who invested in 'real' gold.

There are already heaps of 'real' actual stories of people having bullion stolen, having bought 'fake' bullion, or just of having hid it somewhere and it's value never being realised (unless you're the person that happens accross it).

Where are the actual stories - not hypothesis of the future - of people actually having lost money through the ETF's listed on stock exchanges?

And I'll even allow foriegn exchanges - but keep it reasonable.

Try and give me a story aobut Perth Ming certs or GOLD on the aussie exchange.
